Super Mario is the main fictional character from the popular game Super Mario Brothers video that was created by Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo's Family Computer, or Nintendo Entertainment System video game consoles. Because of its popularity, the character Mario was introduced in over 200 games in different genres such as sports games, role playing games, puzzles, fighting and racing, but it is most popular in platform games.

Super Mario is presented as a short and plump plumber who is Italian-American and is a resident of the Mushroom Kingdom. This kingdom is ruled by a monarchy and Princess Peach is the heir to the throne. In the game Super Mario Brothers, Mario is joined by his brother Luigi and their goal is to save Princess Peach from the evil Bowser. There are eight worlds, each world divided into four sub-levels. The fourth sub-level is always located in a castle where Mario and Luigi has to fight against King Koopa, who turns out to be false, until they reach the eighth world where they fight the true King Koopa.

Mario, who also became the mascot of Nintendo, is always shown wearing a red cap with the letter M opposite. It has big eyes, a mustache and a big nose oblong. He wears a red shirt with long sleeves, blue overalls and white gloves. Therefore, Super Mario costumes are often composed of a red cap, mustache, gloves, long sleeve red shirt, blue overalls and boots.

Super Mario costumes can be used by adults and children for Halloween. For the red cap, which is the most important part of the costume, you can save money by getting a simple red cap.
